The HS Code is a code used by customs to identify and describe the items in each international shipment. Remember after a shipment has been packed, it is not possible to physically see the contents of the package. For example, there is a code for skin care products, or different types of jewelry. This code must be in 10 digit format, 4 digits then a decimal point, 2 digits then a decimal point, then 4 digits. (ex. XXXX.XX.XXXX)
