Send Inventory to TFL - Receiving Guidelines

WAREHOUSE RECEIVING GUIDELINES

Receiving Hours:

  • Receiving hours are Tuesday thru Friday, 10:00AM – 5:00PM (local warehouse time)
  • Receiving is completed within 24 business hours of delivery if the receiving guidelines have been followed and all necessary information has been provided.

*** PLEASE DO NOT SHIP INVENTORY WITHOUT FIRST READING THIS GUIDE AND MAKING SURE YOU ARE COMPLIANT WITH OUR REQUIREMENTS. ALL INVENTORY DELIVERIES MUST FOLLOW THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS TO BE ACCEPTED FOR PROCESSING***

Documentation:

  • An Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) for an incoming delivery must be submitted prior to drop-off. To submit an ASN, log in to GFS and click on Inventory from underneath the MAIN portion of the toolbar. Then select Advanced Shipment Notifications from the innermost toolbar.  Click the 3 vertical dots, then select Create from the drop-down menu. Fill in all fields marked with an asterisk. Click Create ASN.
  • All shipments must be accompanied by a packing slip. The packing slip must have your company name listed as well as all products and quantities that are included in the delivery. The product names listed must be identical to the product names in GFS. If a packing slip is not included, this will significantly delay the receiving process and fees may be applied.
    • If master case quantities differ from the quantities listed on the outside of the case, this must be denoted on the packing slip. Otherwise, the quantity listed on the outside of the case is assumed to be accurate.
  • All approved aerosol products and other products categorized as hazardous materials must include the corresponding Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
  • All approved battery-containing products must include proper documentation that details the battery type and size.

New Products:

  • New product listings and SKUs must be added to The Global Fulfillment System (GFS) portal by your team prior to receiving.

International Deliveries:

  • The Fulfillment Lab does not accept any freight collect shipments nor pay any duties and taxes upon inventory arrival. All duties and taxes must be paid for prior to arriving at The Fulfillment Lab or the shipment will be refused.

Packaging:

  • Every unit must have an identifying name on it. This name must be unique and must correspond to one unique product. For example, each variation of the product, such as size or color, must have a different product name.
  • The name on the product must be identical to the product name in GFS.
  • Each SKU should be in its own box. Avoid combining multiple SKUs in the same box unless there are labeled inner cartons or bags to separate them.
  • Each package or BOL must be addressed as specified below:
    • The Fulfillment Lab - Tampa, Attn: Receiving Department/YOUR COMPANY NAME

Large Deliveries:

  • Pallets may not exceed the size range of 40x48x60. Any pallets larger than the specified size will be subject to reconstruction fees.
  • If your inventory will be arriving via ship container:
    • Notification must be provided to our Client Services Team at least 10 business days in advance.
    • If the inventory units are loose (not palletized), the container will need to stay overnight, and a manual unloading fee will be applied.
  • Each BOL must be addressed as specified below:
